 Kim Sung Yong was the youngest gold award winner in the Donga Dance Concour, which is one of the most prestigious concour in Korea. Also in 2013, he won award in 5 categories by performing “Cho-In” at the most respected dance event in Korea, the 34th Seoul Dance Festival. His records serve as a evidence that Kim Sung Yong has gained recognition as the best dancer and the best choreographer in Korea

Under the direction of Cynthia a. Newland the aim of Bal Malhada Dance is to create and present the art of dance to educate, inspire and bring a rich art filled experience to all whom encounter their artistry.

The original contemporary repertory of Bal Malhada Dance includes abroad thematic range created to stimulate and evoke the mind, imagination and soul of their audience. 

Their performances are offered in a variety of venues including national and international settings, theaters, universities, school and churches. 

The nine company members come to Bal Malhada Dance with broad backgrounds studying and performing with various renown dance artists.
