▶Choreographer 

Choreographer Sthan Kabar-Louët gained considerable experience dancing with the world renowned Béjart Ballet under the great master of dance, Maurice Béjart. 

In 2010, he was invited to take up the role of Artistic Director for a major event, the Closing Ceremony of the 14th edition of the Pacific Games to be held in 2011, bringing together over 500 collaborators.

In 2013, Sthan is graduated of Certificat d'Aptitude(CA) at the National Dance Center of Paris, for to taech a ballet.

▶Company

The company is based in Noumea , capital of New Caledonia. Sthan remains a choreographer at heart, hoping to make the world understand his essential message that cultural wealth lies in exchange and interaction. The dance troupe becomes active once again, this time under a new name, the Contemporary Dance Company of New Caledonia. 

The dance troupe is the principal dance company of the country.

Also the dance troupe is supported by Government of New Caledonia, more specifically by the Minister of Culture and Women's Affairs, Ms. Dewe Gorodey. 

▶Performance 

In the beginning, mythical beings, spirits and humans lived on our immense blue planet, suspended in the universe. A small strip of land, located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, harboured its secrets and legends. This is how choreographer Sthan Kabar Louet produced a new chorographical work of art inspired by the story of Tea Kanake, born out of the tooth of the moon on a rock in the middle ocean of all origins. Kanake is portrayed by 5 dancers in succession who present five major stages of th story.
